External Affairs Committee
-
The External Affairs Committee is the outreach arm of the ASWSU Senate, responsible for connecting the Senate with students across campus through tabling and events held throughout the year. Each semester, the committee organizes a joint meeting between the ASWSU Senate and the Pullman City Council, fostering collaboration between student and community leaders. The committee also manages the initial resolution process before resolutions are presented on the Senate floor. The External Committee this year consists of the following Senators:

Engagement Committee
-
The Engagement Committee serves as the financial arm of the ASWSU Senate, overseeing the budgeting process for the ASWSU Service and Programming Committees. The committee presents funding requests to the Service & Activity Fee Committee annually. Members regularly attend Service & Programming Committee meetings and review all fee referendums before they reach the Senate floor. The Engagement Committee this year consists of the following Senators:

The Internal Affairs Committee ensures the integrity of the ASWSU Senate's processes and standards. It is responsible for reviewing and overseeing changes to the ASWSU Bylaws and evaluating bills submitted by senators. The Internal Committee this year consists of the following Senators:

Rules Council
-
The Rules Council, consisting of the Chair and Vice Chairs of the External, Engagement, and Internal Committees, along with the Senate Pro Tempore, reviews bills and resolutions from the Internal and External Committees before they are sent to the Senate floor for voting. The council is also responsible for setting the weekly agenda for Senate meetings. Rules Council consists of the following Chairs, Vice Chair, and Senate Pro Tempore:

Budget Council
- The Budget Council reviews budgets and fee requests for ASWSU Service & Programming Committees, KUGR, CABLE 8, Allegro, LandEscapes, and STAGE. Comprised of members from the Engagement and Internal Committees, as well as the Senate Pro Tempore, the council meets annually to approve funding for the next operating year. The Engagement Chair presents these requests to the Service & Activity Fee Committee for further review.
